Welcome To the Boy Scouts of America!

For over a century, the Boy Scouts of America has created a strong foundation of leadership, service, and community for millions of America’s youth ranging from ages 6 - 21.  In 2012 the organization celebrated two centennial anniversaries: the 1st Scout achieved Eagle rank and the organization launched “Boys Life” as its official magazine.

The Revolutionary Trails Council, one of the first councils established in the United States, has impacted the lives of over 8,000 men and women through a variety of age specific programs in the central New York counties of Oneida, Herkimer, Madison, Hamilton, Lewis, and Otsego.  Since 1913, over 4,300 Scouts have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout under the guidance of leaders in our council.

Join us Thursday, October 23, 2014 at The Yahnundasis Golf Club to help us celebrate leadership in our area and the importance of fostering leaders among our youth in Central New York at our 2nd Annual Leadership Dinner! This year's keynote speaker is Lieutenant General Earl B. Hailston, Ret., USMC and Eagle, Class of 1962 of West Winfield. We will also be recognizing two individuals with Community Leadership Awards. This year's honorees are Howard D. Mettelman, District Superintendant, Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES and Mark G. Miller, President, Richard E. Alexander Co. Click here to get tickets today.
